SAT 10 SEPT AT 10AM
THE BACKYARD AT FIRSTONTARIO PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE

The Strong Water Youth will lead an all nations walk as part of the Procession of Nations, a meaningful program at the 7th annual Celebration of Nations gathering.

Celebration of Nations is based upon the Two Row Wampum teaching and serves as a way for all nations to come together in mutual respect to share, to heal and to build a vibrant shared future of unity and friendship. As a truly inclusive event, Celebration of Nations invites members of both the Indigenous and Ally community to be a part of the Procession, which will be led by Indigenous Youth, our future leaders.

The Procession of Nations, in its glorious sight and sound shares the breadth and diversity of Indigenous peoples who live within the Niagara region and who travelled long distances from across Turtle Island to participate. There is no cost or registration to participate in the Procession.

The Procession will move east down St. Paul Street, turn right down Carlisle Street, and then end up in the Backyard of the PAC.

Click here to sign-up to be part of Procession of Nations.

Beginning on St. Paul Street at the main doors of the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre, the route of an ancient and enduring Indigenous trail, let us proudly walk together and honour our nations! Please arrive 15 mins in advance if you plan on walking in the Procession of Nations.
